- ABOUT SAFELIFE

A Nigerian NGO with an international standard of safety practice.

ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND

Founded to close Nigeria's safety literacy gap.

SafeLife Safety Awareness Initiative was founded in response to Nigeria’s disproportionate burden of preventable injuries and deaths as seen on our roads, in our workplaces, in our schools, in our homes e.t.c. Too often, response to emergencies is improvised because bystanders lack basic training, employers lack safety systems, and communities lack preparedness.

We exist to change that. Working with governments, corporates, faith and community organisations, we deliver programmes that raise awareness, build practical skills, and change behaviour at scale. Our model brings global best practice from first aid guidelines aligned with AHA/ILCOR to OHS frameworks aligned with ISO 45001 to Nigerian classrooms, worksites, markets and neighbourhoods.

SLSAI is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC 9597078) and operates from Suite A102, Garki Mall, Abuja, with a growing volunteer corps active across the country.
